A special invitation for BIPOC Educators...
Equity Sparks is a small retreat get-away for BIPOC members of the Oregon Education Association to come together in community and build support, growth, connection and leadership. OEA has hosted seven Equity SPARK Retreats — welcoming in more than 150 BIPOC members. Now, it is your turn to experience this powerful retreat and carry this special social justice movement into the future. OEA will cover limited mileage, lodging, meals and all materials during the retreat. If needed, we will also reimburse your district for your substitute cost for 1 full day Friday. Retreats require full participation and lodging on site from beginning to end of the program. This retreat is open to all OEA BIPOC members who have NOT already attended an Equity SPARKS Retreat. We are limited to 32 attendees. This retreat is invitation-only.
