OEA’s Center for Great Public Schools (CGPS) is gearing up for the 2021-2022 Coaching for Empowerment Academy and the Educator Empowerment Academy.

OEA takes in nominations each spring from OEA members and leaders to participate in our annual Coaching for Empowerment Academy, a year-long learning community that focuses on helping members grow as coaches in OEA’s Empowerment Process. Twenty OEA members from around the state will be chosen to participate in this exciting opportunity from August 2021 - May 2022. If you or someone you know would be interested, please nominate yourself or forward your colleague this flyer/application, due June 30th.

OEA is also recruiting teams of 3-5 people to participate in our third annual Educator Empowerment Academy, a year-long learning community that empowers teams to solve a problem of practice in their school, district, local, or UniServ with coaching and support using OEA's Empowerment Process. Twenty teams from around the state will be chosen to participate from October 2021 - June 2022. Please see this flyer for more information about the Educator Empowerment Academy. If you are interested and know of people who could join your team, fill out this brief interest survey.

For more information, see the Academies page. Please feel free to reach out to Erin Whitlock (erin.whitlock@oregoned.org) and Leah Starkovich (leah.starkovich@oregoned.org) if you have questions or need more information about either Academy opportunity.
