Susan Caisse is currently an English to Speakers of Other Language (ESOL) adjunct instructor for Clackamas Community College, where she has taught beginning through intermediate classes in grammar, reading and writing, and listening and speaking. She earned BAs in Anthropology and Applied Linguistics, as well as her MA TESOL degree from Portland State University. She has been a conference and workshop co-coordinator of the Oregon Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages since 2017. In 2021, with colleagues from the ESOL department, she published an Open Educational Resource, Explorations 1: Grammar for the Experienced Beginner. Her teaching interests involve using technology and teaching digital literacy. Susan has been in love with teaching since she first taught swimming lessons at 17 years of age.
