Korie Blacker graduated with a master's in Counseling in 2014. Before graduating, she taught middle school and high school social studies for 5 years in Virginia. For the last 4 years, she has been working as a school counselor in Astoria, Oregon. Korie is passionate about helping students and staff discover how their feelings and thoughts are connected to overall well-being, using this self-awareness to create change and growth in areas that are important to them. Outside of school, Korie enjoys coffee, traveling, running, and being outside in nature with her husband, Clint, and their dog, Tars.
