Jo Linden (she/her) has been working with youth in alternative settings for over a decade as a facilitator, mentor, and teacher. She is currently a teacher at Creekside Community High School, where she teaches SEL (social-emotional learning) topics and is developing a Peer Counseling program as a CTE pathway. Prior to this position, Jo was the Director of Social-Emotional Programming for Full Circle Programs in Tigard, where she facilitated out-of-school SEL programs and trained teachers and facilitators in SEL and trauma-informed practices. She is currently training in trauma-informed education practices with the Neurosequential Network, the organization founded by Bruce Perry. Originally from the Yampa River Valley in Colorado, Jo lives with her wife and two kids in SW Portland and enjoys spending time in nature, meditation and mindfulness practices, and engaging in deep dive conversations with other reflective human beings of all ages.
