Diane Hicks

Diane is an Equity Sparks Cohort Two “Sparkie” and is now an Equity Sparks facilitator. She is proud to be a BIPOC educator with a strong voice for Union values. Diane taught for three decades at the elementary level and is now a proud member of the OEA-Retired board. She co-wrote OEA-Retired’s statement on Racial Equity. She also had the privilege of serving three terms on the Committee on Racial Equity, including chairing it for several years. Currently, Diane is also the liaison from CORE to the OEA PAC board.
