Anniversary of the 2002 conviction of Bobby Cherry, member of the Klu Klux Klan, who, along with three other Klansmen, bombed the 16th Street Baptist Church in Birmingham, Alabama in 1963, killing four young girls. Cherry lived free for 40 years before he was tried and convicted of these murders. He died two years into his life sentence.
