Begin applying what you are learning about trauma informed education in your day-to-day interactions with students in the third part of OEA’s four-part learning series. In this 7-week VLC, educators will learn more advanced concepts of how the brain responds to trauma; behavior interventions from a trauma-informed lens; and the dynamics of power within a school system. The VLC will focus on moving participants’ knowledge into practice through self-assessments, reflection, and action planning. This VLC is relevant for all members, including higher education members and ESPs. Because this is an advanced course, prior knowledge on the topic is required and registration is subject to approval.
