Tiered Behavior Supports (Part 2): Understanding more about student behavior is a critical first step in supporting students. Educators must also know how to develop tiered behavior supports that can address and ultimately change student behavior to support learning. Participants will learn more about functional behavior assessments, behavior support plans and how disability impacts behavior. Participants will also create functional behavior assessments and support plans, test new strategies with students, and share with peers their successes and failure. To be successful in this VLC, participants should expect to spend two to three hours per week engaged in discussions and learning activities. Participants will have the opportunity to earn PDUs or up to 1 graduate credit from WOU.
