Quality assessment isn’t a four-letter word, a piece of paper, a tool, or an event. Quality assessment is an ongoing and regular part of quality instruction that helps all students get a clear picture of where they are in their learning journey and empowers them to achieve personal and academic success. Assessment that supports learning is driven by a series of guiding principles that also inform quality instruction. This session will provide an overview of those guiding principles, explore how they support quality teaching and learning, and provide participants with next steps to learn more. The first in a series of three Quality Assessment Practices seminars in Douglas County. Register here!
