Join other community college* staff and faculty for a one-hour discussion of the film, A Place at the Table. Access to the 84-minute film is provided after registration so you can watch the commercial-free version of the film at your leisure. Then, on November 2, join a facilitated conversation about hunger with Mt Hood Community College member Dr. Lori Wamsley. What are the hunger-related issues you're seeing with students? What support and services is your institution providing?

About the film: Directors Kristi Jacobson and Lori Silverbush examine the issue of hunger in America through the lens of three people struggling with food insecurity. While released in 2012, the conditions and situations depicted in the film are extremely pertinent today, 10 years later.

"The film explains with devastating simplicity why so many go hungry in a country with more than enough food to go round." - London Evening Standard
