This six-week course was designed with OEA professional learning opportunities and member facilitators in mind. Members will learn about online community building, facilitator presence, adult learning theory, best practices for facilitating both asynchronous learning and synchronous (live) discussions, and the basics of OEA Learn (Oba) and Big Blue Button, OEA’s learning management system and virtual meeting platform. If you’re interested in facilitating an OEA virtual learning community or online course, this is a first step in becoming ready to lead other members online. Participants can earn PDU or graduate credit. Live sessions are held every Monday night at 7 p.m. To be successful in this course, plan on participating at least two hours a week

This course is open and relevant to ALL members, K12 and community college.
