Becoming a Trauma Sensitive Educator helps participants deepen their understanding of trauma informed education and reflect on their current practices and policies to identify where to make changes. In this 7-week course, educators will learn more about how to create strong classroom communities, integrate social and emotional learning competencies, and approach behavior management through prevention. This course is relevant for all members, including higher education members and ESPs. This course is ideal for members who have completed the Becoming a Trauma Aware Educator Course or other foundational professional learning on trauma informed education. It is OK to be on vacation or away during this course.

Dates and Times: Monday, Oct. 3-Friday, Nov. 18. Weekly live sessions on Mondays at 7:30 p.m.
Cost: Members $0, free as a benefit of membership; non-members $200. Optional two (2) undergraduate OR graduate credits for $100.
